ADB is headlight system that can automatically block just the light that blinds on-coming vehicles to thus achieve safe high-beam driving even while driving with high beams that ensure adequate night-time visibility. A forward-facing camera detects the headlights of on-coming cars and the taillights of cars in front, and then produces light blocking portions so that light strikes everywhere but in those areas.
